The Full Story
Weronika holds a diploma with distinction in Master of Fine Arts in Film Directing at the University of Edinburgh, College of Art.
She has also completed the Cinematography and Film Production studies in California, San Jose State University.
As a director, she looks for meaningful stories and visual fidelity. She finds herself deeply intrigued by metaphysical issues, always looking for unsettling stories from forgotten corners of the world.
Her debut short documentary Susurrus about a local witch has gathered international interest and been shortlisted for festivals, winning Los Angeles International Indie Short Film Festival 'Best Student Film' Category.
Having spent most of her adult life abroad, she's specifically drawn to untold stories of Eastern Europe region, bringing an outsider's perspective and the heart of the insider.
